LOCAL INSTITUTION, HOTEL GOSFORD TAKES HOME THE REGIONAL REDEVELOPMENT OF THE YEAR AWARD AT THE AUSTRALIAN HOTEL ASSOCIATION NSW’S AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2022
Gosford, NSW – Hotel Gosford made quite the impact at the prestigious Australian Hotel Association NSW (AHA NSW) Awards for Excellence last night, taking home Regional Redevelopment of the Year and being finalists in nine further categories, including:

The heritage-listed pub and local institution owned by the Harris family and part of the Harris Narvo Hotel Group, recently underwent a 18-month multimillion dollar refurbishment, where extensive improvements, overseen by Bergstrom Architects and Evolve Constructions were made throughout.
It’s been almost a year since the new Hotel Gosford reopened its doors, warmly welcoming locals and visitors alike. Jordan Harris, Hotel Gosford’s owner/operator, says he’s honoured to be recognised for his venue’s outstanding achievements.
“I’m so proud of our team and last night’s recognition just proves how hard we’ve worked. It’s been our focus for almost a decade to transform our much-loved venue and create an incredible pub destination for the Central Coast”.
Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s rich history and the roaring twenties, Hotel Gosford’s renovations included a new main area with features including exposed brick, steel and raw concrete. The tall brick walls of the main façade mirroring the original colonnades of the historic building that stood in the 1920’s. Raked ceilings were installed in the new area to create a sense of space, drawing the eye to high windows and a butterfly shaped roof.
Further renovations were made to the accommodation, The Saloon and VIP Lounge areas, with the food and beverage offerings also being reimagined to pay homage to the hotel’s rich heritage - ‘Classic with a twist’
The AHA NSW Awards For Excellence are considered to be the most prestigious awards programme across the NSW hospitality industry.
