International Women’s Day
On Tuesday 8th March, we had the pleasure of hosting 150 like-minded women of the Central Coast at our International Women’s Day luncheon.
It was a truly wonderful day with meaningful #BreakTheBias conversations, food, drinks and entertainment. Throughout the proceedings, we were also able to raise $2,000 for Coast Shelter, a leading not-for-profit organisation providing specialist homelessness services and support programs on the NSW Central Coast.
A special shout-out goes to our talented MC Marney McQueen, who kept our day full of light and entertainment, including a rendition of I AM WOMAN to finish us off - @marneymcqueen. Claire from ScoutPR for all your hard work behind the scenes @scoutpr_aus and the Hotel Gosford team for bringing the vision to life.
We must also make special mention of our fantastic guest speakers:
Kara Demrich, Serial renovator and TV personality
Lisa Pagotto, Owner – Crooked Compass
Julia Hughes, Owner – Mr Goaty Gelato
Pi Williams - Artist
These strong, courageous women shared their stories on success, industry bias and what they hope for in the future. It was an important conversation, and we are so grateful to them for sharing their stores.
We hope all attendees enjoyed the day as much as we did, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year.
